At The Salvation Army Rockingham we gather as followers of Jesus in many different expressions.
We meet together as a large gathering on the first Sunday of every month. This large gathering is to worship God together and to celebrate what He is doing in our lives every day.
We also encourage our whole church to meet at various times in smaller gatherings in many different locations; we call these smaller gatherings discipleship huddles, which is where 4-6 people grow together by reading scripture, seeking to understand where God is at work in our lives, praying for one another, and encouraging one another to live out our faith in mission.
We also gather in our Wednesday Chapel Service every fortnight at 10am
First Sunday of Every Month 10.00am - 11.00am, followed by Morning Tea.
Avibrant worship experience for the whole family, celebrating God through scripture, song and sermon. Children's programs are run during this time. When you come to our 1st Sunday gathering you will hear great music, see interesting media, hear a short message, your children will be invited to join in fun activities with other children, and you will meet friendly people over refreshments.
We look forward to meeting you at one of our gatherings.
There is no requirement to wear anything different than when you visit a friend's house. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions or perhaps be prayed for, if you desire. You will not be singled out but you will be warmly welcomed.
Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. -Psalm 127:3
On the first Sunday of every month, during our usual Worship service, the kids in our congregation are invited to join the Children's Ministry Team for Kids Church.
