Captain Jo Delamore

Captain Joanne (Jo) Delamore

My husband Kenny and I, originally joined the RSDS team in 2001 at Puckapunyal and then re-joined the team in 2013. I have been a Salvation Army officer for 14 years now.

While at the Puckapunyal Army Training Facility, I served the Army Logistics Training Centre (ALTC) and the Community Centre this was in 2001; The rest of my RSDS appointments have been supporting the following units 2RAR, 3CER; 2/14, 7CSSB and RMC/ADFA. I have been appointment to RMC/ADFA twice.

Both Kenny and I were deployed during the 2019/20 bush fires on Operation Bushfire Assist to the Bega area.

The aspect I enjoy most about my work with RSDS is the freedom of ministry and the opportunities that arise.
