Each year in July the Reserve Forces Day Parade is held in Hyde Park, Sydney. The Parade is in recognition of those who have formerly served and who currently serve in the Defence Forces as a reservist. The event is arranged by the Reserve Forces Day Council. This year saw veterans, defence associations and Army reserve units march through Hyde Park to form up outside the Hyde Park War Memorial. The Chief of the Defence Force, Air Chief Marshall Mark Binskin then addressed the parade. RSDS Holsworthy proudly supports the Reserve Forces Day each year and provides coffee and tea to those participating in the parade.
