You are invited to join us as we celebrate the July School Holidays over 3 days of fun!! Taking part is 100% free - The Salvation Army will cover the costs for activities, transport and meals on all of the days (unless stated otherwise). Why? Because we love kids & young people and believe that you deserve the best! The program is designed so that you will have a fun and meet new friends in a safe and positive environment!
PLEASE NOTE: You need to be a primary or high school aged young person to apply. Parents you will need to drop off & pick up your child on each day of the program in which they are participating. The drop off & pick up point is at Macquarie Park Salvation Army (47 Ivanhoe Place, Macquarie Park). You MUST RSVP and return the Application Form or we cannot guarantee your child’s place in the program.

Day 1 - Ice Skating & Winter Games at Parramatta Mall
Friday 4th July
9:30am - 3:30pm
After having a blast last year we thought it was time to head back to Parramatta to celebrate winter by ice skating on the pop-up ice rink. Prizes will go to the best stack of the day! After lunch we’ll then split the group with Juniors (6-11yo) doing winter games and activities whilst the Seniors (12-17yo) will be hitting up Parramatta Library for a massive video games afternoon.
Day 2 - Learn to Cook Sushi, NAIDOC Week Activity & How To Train Your Dragon #1
Tuesday 8th July
10:00am - 3:00pm
Ever wanted to learn how to make sushi? Then today is your lucky day! After eating our scrumptious self-made lunch we’ll be spending some time learning more abut the rich Indigenous culture in our local area for NAIDOC Week. Finally we’ll be doing a pop-up cinema complete with popcorn & lolly bags for all as we settle in to watch part one of ‘How To Train Your Dragon’.
Day 3 - Amazing Race & How To Train Your Dragon #2
Thursday 10th July
10:00am - 3:00pm* (End time is T.B.C depending on movie time)
Our final day of program will kick off with the Amazing Race! Back by popular demand this adventure will team you up with a group of other young guns and together you’ll have to set out to achieve as many of the goals as you can. Eventually we’ll end up at Macquarie Centre for lunch after which we’ll be heading to Event Cinemas to watch part two of ‘How To Train Your Dragon’, before heading home to celebrate what a great School Holidays we’ve all had.
