Ryde Salvos Has A New Home!

It is official - Ryde Salvation Army now has a new home in Macquarie Park!

For almost 20 years The Ryde Salvation Army has been gathering in abandoned school buildings, auditoriums, multi purpose centres and even outdoors! But as of Sunday 7th February we will have a new home at Unit 5, 112 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park.

It has been an incredible journey of faith, investigation, prayer and petition over many many years to this point. It became clear in late 2015 that God was opening the doors for Ryde Salvation Army to take this step of faith into a new home, and just this week we received the keys to the building

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Goodman+, the property owners, for their support and generousity. We would also like to acknowledge the support of Ryde Council in approving the site for use. In addition we want to highlight the faithful ministry of Wesley International Congregation who have served the community from the space for the last 7 years with deep passion and great love.

Please watch this space as we will soon be hosting a large "Community Housewarming Party" at our new building and annoucing what exciting ministries and acitivities will be operating out of the space throughout the week!

But in the mean time why not come and check us out! For those on foot it is a short 5 minute walk from the Macquarie University train station and Macquarie Shopping Centre. Or for those driving there is plenty of on-site parking available. In either case just look out for the signs and banners which will show you where to go!
