This Christmas the Salvation Army Ryde has a mission to bring Hope where it's needed most!
Our goal is to ensure that no family or person in the City of Ryde should have to go it alone this Christmas. The Salvation Army Ryde invites you, your family and friends to join us as we celebrate Christmas this year! Christmas is a time when we connect with those we love, but it can also be a time where we feel disconnected and alone. No matter how you are feeling this Christmas, we want you to know that there ARE WAYS you can connect and experience the joy and hope of the season!
This Christmas, we hope you find ways to take the time you need to really connect with others, the things you care about, the world around you and the Christmas story itself – Jesus, the Son of God, being born in Bethlehem all those years ago.

FREE Community Christmas Meals
Community Christmas Dinner
Sunday 16th December from 6:00pm - 9:00pm
This event will be held at the Ryde Civic Hall, which is directly across the road from the Top Ryde Shopping Centre. We would love for you and any of your loved ones to enjoy a sit-down meal with us in the days leading up to Christmas.
All of the food and drinks at the event will be FREE and everyone is welcome! Come along and connect with others over a cooked meal and share in the joy that comes from celebrating Christmas together in community. There will also be table games, carol singing, prize giveaways and fun activities for children! And if you need a support in getting home from the event please let us know as we would be happy to help.
