Christmas is meant to be a time of celebration and joy, but if finances are tight, it can be challenging, stressful and isolating.

Contact us if you are experiencing a crisis, unsure if you have enough food for Christmas, or don’t know how you will afford presents for your kids.

Shire Salvos may be able to support you with food hampers, toys, gifts and/or vouchers. We want to help you and help you believe in good for Christmas and for the year ahead.

 

Register for Your Christmas Hamper: Key Information and Dates

To be eligible for a Christmas hamper, applicants must reside within the Sutherland Shire postcodes, Helensburgh, or Panania. Proof of address will be required upon collection. Thank you for your understanding.

REGISTRATIONS OPEN FROM - Tuesday 5th November 2024

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE - Tuesday 3rd December 2024


Ways to register 

BY PHONE - either call our Miranda (02) 9542 9500 or Menai (02) 9543 0487 locations to register for support this year. 

IN PERSON - Visit our Miranda location at 23 Kiora Road, Miranda on Tuesdays 3 - 4.30pm or Thursdays 2.30 - 3.30pm for assistance in registrations. 

We kindly ask that you only contact us or visit during the specified hamper registration dates. Registrations will only be accepted during the advertised period, and we will not be able to process inquiries or registrations outside of these times. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

 

We also offer emergency food hampers throughout the year and other urgent financial assistance such as grocery and fuel vouchers, clothing and furniture vouchers, and food hampers. Alternatively, you may wish to have a free, confidential conversation with a financial counsellor to help you with debt and money management for a stress-free Christmas.
