New name launch at lunch

This year, the group formerly known as JOY (Just Older Youth - and before thatn 50+) is to be known as Good Company.

JOY was co-ordinated for many years by Don and Thelma Fischle but have retired their position and handed over the role to Kevin and Jennifer Smith.

To launch the new name and the new year, a lunch acrivity is being planned for Saturday, February 4, from noon for a 12.30pm start.

It is to be held at Treasure House, which is at the corner of Hamilton and Beckett roads, McDowall.

The cost is $35 per person and  RSVP and payment is due by January 29. Gluten-free meals are available to be bought individually

A sign on sheet for the event has been placed on the information table in the foyer of the worship centre.
