Farewell

After six years of service as Corps Officers at the Salvation Army Stafford, Deon and I are transitioning to new appointments based at the Divisional Headquarters in Brisbane. Our season at Stafford has been a positive one.  As our family moves into this new adventure, we remain confident in God's Goodness and firmly trust that "Greater things are yet to come".

The incoming officer is Major Ian Channell.  Major Ian has served as Corps Officer at the Maitland City Corps (NSW) for the past five years. We call upon you to embrace Ian and support him in all that God has purposed as he commences to lead Stafford Corps.

And, at the start of another season, we are reminded of God's call to His people to see and enter into new things:

“'Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!

Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.”
(Isaiah 43:18-19)
