Salvos PAL - Phone Assessment Line

If you find yourself in a financial crisis and require financial or material assistance please contact The Salvation Army's phone assistance line. This line is open Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am - 3:30pm and gives you the opportunity to speak with a worker who can help with an assessment. Please call

If you do not have a phone or would like to use ours, we have an allocated phone at Streetlevel Surry Hills and Waterloo in our community space for you to use.

Assistance can be collected from our Surry Hills site between 9:30-1:30pm Monday-Friday. If Surry Hills is not your local centres please speak with the operator during your assessment to organise pickup from a Salvos Connect site close to you. 

Please note that we do not have any assessment workers based at Sydney Streetlevel Mission. All assessments for emergency relief are conducted through the assessment centre.
