Christmas Support Registration 2024

The Salvation Army Victor Harbor supports community members at Christmas time who are doing it tough and need some assistance with toys and/or food. We want to bring hope, love and joy into peoples lives at Christmas and one way we can do this is through the provision of toys and/or food for people are who are struggling.

Assistance at Christmas with toys and/or food is designed to supplement what you are able to provide for yourself and not to provide everything needed for Christmas. The ablity to provide assistance is provided based on donations received from the community.

Food is provided to all those who are approved for assistance.
Toys are provided to all those who are approved for assistance and who have children in their care aged 0-14 years old (other arrangements in place to support Victor Harbor High School).

This means that The Salvation Army may work closely with other agencies to co-ordinate the best support for you and your family. Under the guidelines, your informed consent for the sharing of information will be sought and respected in all situations unless; - It is unsafe or impossible to gain consent, or consent has been refused; and - without information being shared, it is anticipated a child, young person, or member of their family will be at risk of serious harm, abuse or neglect, or pose a risk to their own or public safety.
