Children's & Families

The children’s and families ministry at the Wyndham City Salvation Army is booming with growth and we are so excited every single week to watch everyone involved in the ministry grow as well.

Our playgroup that runs fortnightly on Friday’s from 9:30am-11:30am (Genesis Playgroup) is open to everyone and anyone aged 0-5. We welcome you along to be apart of a fun filled two hours where we play with toys, do crafts & puzzles, have morning tea and sing songs.

Our kids church program apart of our 10am service at 211 Watton Street, where the children are divided into 3 rooms based on their school grade to help them participate in activities and different types of curriculum to best suit their intellectual and physical development. Our First Steps room is for 1-6 year olds , KidZ Church room for 7-9 year old (Grade 1-3s) & Kingdom Kids room for 10-12 year olds (Grade 4-6s).

The school holidays are such a fantastic opportunity to spend time together as a family and that is why we run holiday family fun days at the Wyndham City Salvation Army. We offer a day of fun for all ages and in so many different ways. From the jumping castle to the toddler play area, the basketball hoops to the fairy floss and popcorn machine, the playground to the giant games there is something for everybody.
