THE LISTENING PROJECT 2024

MORE Ministries

Overview

The Listening Project is the formal process of lived experience research for the Youth & Young Adults Ministry team. The Listening Project aims to hear and empower the voices of young people. To do this, we consider young people’s lived experience for all our resources, including PLP, Life Labs, and Valere.

The Listening Project is ongoing and has included two research studies:

2019 research report

2022 research report

2024 Planned Research

In 2024, we aim to research the lived experience of local youth ministry leaders in the Salvation Army. We are interested in hearing about what you do, how you do it, and why, to help us better understand what best practice youth ministry looks like in the Salvation Army.

The research involves an interview with our team, where we'll ask you about your experiences in youth ministry, and ask you to reflect on practice. It would be approximately 1 hour, over Teams.

If you are interested, please provide your details below, and a member of our team will contact you to arrange a time to talk.
